Amazing scenery and well located just 5km from the Royal Natal National Park. The service was brilliant as the staff were friendly and accommodating as well as the meals provided at the hotel. I think they are under new ownership though and are in process of making this a successful 5 star hotel, certainly one to look out for and the view of the Amphitheatre outside your doorstep is stunning.

What a wonderful breakaway. The room was clean and have stunning views. Food both breakfast and dinner was well prepared and tasty and helpful and friendly staff. Just a tip: Upgrade yoyr parking and surrounding area. We will be back again.

Breathtaking scenery, a perfect place to see for the ones who seek for Drakensberg panorama pictures. Value for money *mainly for such plenty of activities that the hotel offers. Easy access to places of interest around: Amphitheatre, The Royal Natal National Park. We enjoyed the food so much, tasty and spicy. Not to mention the friendly chef, who came to every table to make sure everything is in order. The swimming pool was pretty big and clean. The only problem we had was when asking for a new towel (the one provided had stains), and it took a day to get the new one. The Manager told me that they got some issue with their laundry and that’s why it took so long. So in that case I can understand. Will definitely will come back to stay there 😊👍

Truly a wonderful setting at the foothills of the legendary Drakensberg Amphitheater. The hotel is warm and friendly with spectacular views of the Northern Drakensberg. There are some beautiful hiking and trail running trails which I thoroughly enjoyed. I hiked up to the top of the nearest hill and came across some roaming Eland at the top. The view took my breath away.
The hotel food is good and the rooms are well kept

The backpackers is a great place to stay overnight if you wish to climb Mt Aux Sources early. The rooms are clean and the kitchen/shower are well equipt for the overnight stay. On our return we went to the restuarant for some cold ones which went down well after along days hiking. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was a great adventure.

Beautiful views of the Amphitheater mountain range in the Northern Drakensberg. The food was amazing and the hotel is very child friendly with lots of amenities like hiking etc to do in the area.
